ISIS Wants to Kill Me, Too! by Nahmala ISIS Wants to Kill Me, Too! by Nahmala
ISIS has killed over 100,000 Muslims to date. They have bombed mosques and Islamic funerals. ISIS's magazine (yes, they have a magazine) lists Muslims who refuse to follow their horrific, twisted idea of Islam as their number one enemy.

ISIS is the enemy of Muslims, humanity, and the world. Terrorism has no religion.

ISIS is to Islamic civilization what the Nazis were to Western civilization. Both were genocidal movements spawned by conflicts over vital resources (farmland in the case of the Nazis, or water in the case of ISIS). The Nazis (as Westerners) picked their victims along racial lines (as Western civilization in the early 20th century was still thoroughly racist) while ISIS picks its victims on a religious sectarian basis as religion is the most prominent marker of identity in the Middle East.

The Middle East desperately needs a load of desalination plants (powered by non-fossil-fuel energy – either nuclear or solar is OK by me) in order to deal with the water shortage that is the root cause of the carnage in Syria and Iraq.

Hmm.  I still want someone to tell me what the reaction from the Left (and the Muslim community) would be if, every single time someone set off a bomb or went on a shooting rampage on innocent civilians they were yelling "Christ is Lord!" or "Christ is Great!" or some such phrase, instead of yelling "Allah is Great!" (Allahu Akbar!).

Would the SJWs be equally dedicated to justice and come to the defense of those that said those attacks had nothing to do with Christianity as a whole?  Or would they reveal their real motives and simply use the opportunity to pile on more verbal and written attacks against all Christians in general?

And if what ISIS is doing and calling it obedience to the Quran is really a misrepresentation of Islam (heresy/apostasy), then why doesn't the rest of the Muslim community shun all the their Muslims who sympathize with ISIS and help authorities in the crackdown of all those radicals?

I am left-wing. I would come to defense of those who said it has nothing to do with Christanity, if they even considered it necessary to say we condemn it and it has nothing to do with Christanity when, for example, a man writes a book with 1500 pages and a crucifix on the cover, and kills 77 people for it, like in Norway.

The problem is that instead, certain people commenting the attack preferred to talk about the spare parts they need for their car, compared the camp that was attacked to the Hitler Youth or just blamed the victim's naivty. I won't defend such positions. Why are they not shunned for it?

Or how do you define sympathizing with terrorists if not through calling the terrorist's victims murderers (or collateral damage) and therefore, calling the attack just?

They are not shunned for it. The organisation who brought the compairson to the Hitler Youth has a member who'll be vice president of the US now. Helping in the crackdown of radicals looks different. Shunning radicals out looks different.

I don't blame all Christians, I won't in the future. I have not forgotten that when a man decided to follow Breivik's path in my country, the churches gave shelter to those who couldn't go home that night. But I'm really not sure anymore if all Christians remember that "Love your next" refers to everyone, not just to christian white men - the Republicans in the US used to be a party for conservative christians after all, if I understoof nothing wrong.

Think Christians can have peace among themselves? Look at the South Sudan. Hell, look at my country - we're not at war with anyone, but last time a Christian killed 150 people was 2015. If you want to judge an entire religion by the worst deeds individuals from there do, you should at least do that with Christians, too - go and tell me Christianity is better than Islam because we have less bloodshed.
By the way, you're from Argentinia, so wether Muslims enter Europe or North America or East Asia is none of your business.

Wrong your at war against the **Islamic State** that should start to tell you something.

Oh and your comment that christian killed 150 people, did he do it in the name of Jesus Christ? I did not say every muslim is a violent psycopath, every group has violent elements, yet the rate of Islamic violence supercedes those of other ethnic and or religious groups.

I have family in Europe and they tell me of their situation there. Nevertheless you denying me an opinion just because I'm not from there is, lets say not very "nice"

Actually, I mentioned South Sudan because they have a christian terrorist group there: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord%27s…

Do I have to like that group, do I deserve to be judged by their actions, because I'm christian?

Islam isn't an ethnicity at all. People killing in the name of god is nothing I heard of in my country, people killing in the name of my nation happens far too often...if there's any violent ethnicty in the world, it is mine - just look at my country's history.

By the way, I'm not at war with IS:
1. I as a person am no soldier and fight no one
2. For my country to be at war with IS, it would be required that my country recognizes IS as state - which it does not. Nor does any other country in the world.
3. My country doesn't attack IS directly in any way. They just give weapons to people who fight IS - and that are mainly Muslims.

It's not about liking or disliking is about the security of Europe which IMO is pretty compromised.
You may not agree with the views of the terrorist Christian group above, but if Europe was the shithole with tones of Christian Terrorists Groups and the Middle East was the nice secular and stable place then Middle-Easterners would be in their hole right to prevent European Christian from entering.
Anyway it's not like the rapefugees actually behave themselves: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Year…

Yes you are at war with ISIS:
1.As a citizen of Germany you have a duty to your Nation to help in the war effort
2.The Islamic State dosen't need your recognition to be an State because it already has all the qualities of one: an army, territory, an administration, citizens, a justice system (Sharia Law), etc.
3. Dear you should read the news more often Gemany has been attacking ISIS for quite some time: www.telegraph.co.uk/news/world…

You don't understand. Had you read the articles more carefully, you'd have understood that most people from the sexual assaults in New Year's Eve weren't from war zones. It is known that there are people trying to misuse Germany's asylum system, mainly from countries such as Algeria, Morocco, or, to name a christian country, Georgia. It is why the government isn't sure about wether to introduce visa exemption with Georgia - but throwing these people with people who flee from war into the same pot is quite unfair and assuming that it has something to do with the Middle East is just plain wrong. If you continue with such insulting generalizations, I'll stop this debate.

1. I don't have the duty to help my nation in any war effort. I have the right to refuse. If you knew my country's constitution and law, you could tell this. You could also tell that with your demand to prevent people from the Middle East from entering Europe in general, you are the one disrespecting my country's constitution.
2. Irrelevant. Nations are what the UN recognizes as such. There are recognized nations without army, around 25 of them. There are a lot administrations in Germany who claim their own terrority, have own laws, have own citizens and are not nations either.
3. That article says Germany has sent military to Syria, not that the military fights IS. It says Germany does not participate in the air strikes. You should read news a bit more precise.

The overwhelming majority (over 70% as a matter of fact) of these "refugees" are able-bodied young men, many of who have military experience.
If they can't even fight for their own country, for their own people, why should welcome them into ours ?

....

Seriously, I don't want to seem bigoted here, but these guys... In 1986, in the Phillipenes, ordinary men and women took to the streets in protest of the monsters in power. They faced tanks and armed soldiers with nothing but bible and rosary clutched in shaking hands, and had their numbers swell as the soldiers threw down their arms and joined them. Without a single shot fired, they chased Marco and his abhorrent sow of a wife out of the country, and immediately after held thanksgiving, offering thanks to God for all that happened.

Thats not going to happen with ISIS, and it breaks my heart to write that. There's going to be a lot of orphans, widows, and despairing parents before this is all over, and we haven't even started. Guess we're going by the Book on this one, huh?

you're right about terrorism has no religion.most people who joined Isis(who have given up and come back) according to news said it was for selfish desires. not for the belief of Islam. as "promised" by Isis on the web. to be honest, most wars said to be religious were not even for religions;it was more of an excuse. This goes to crusades as they weren't really for righteousness but because of the catholic church feared the Turkish empire could take control an important trading system. it all jut for power and I'm sorry that your religion has been used and abused and cherry picked by a group of hypocritical power greedy men.God bless you.

ISIS is just the modern equivalent of the Nazi party if you ask me.

ISIS just uses bullshit ideals to rally people behind them and then they have the guts to say that it is in the name of their religon . They see everyone who isn't them as a scapegoat. They don't care who you are. They don't care if you are Christian, Muslim, American, middle Eastern, etc. If you are the very slightest outside their "purification" standards, then they will kill you and destroy your home.

ISIS is nothing but evil, lies, and deceiving propaganda. They are not doing this in the name of their religon. They are doing this in the name of purification and hatred for their fellow humans, just like the Nazis before them.

We should all be united against ISIS. Every capable country needs to take action, regardless of our differences. Although I'm not a member of any major religion, I still believe in coexistence and religous tolerance. ISIS is the very enemy of coexistence, and must be destroyed.

And when they run out of those, they kill each other. In places where they've taken over, they've been known to go paranoid and execute other ISIS members for being not their idea of proper muslims, or gay, or... uh, insert anything they've decided needs to be killed, which is quite a long list. Or other disputes.

They really suck at the whole "state" thing. That requires... doing stuff that's not indiscriminate murder. And the "Islamic" thing; that requires having a god other than their own bloodlust.

Very true. I'm quite sad when I hear of Extremist factions like ISIS killing members of the religion on masse that they claim to support.

I hear some people saying that we should just nuke the Middle East and burn it to the ground to solve problems with the small groups of Islamic Extremists, but this is a ridiculous idea as there are many many good folks just trying to live their life in the crossfires of it all. I couldn't imagine living in such a heated political climate.

And the groups such as ISIS make up such a small percentage of the country that just nuking the whole region like an idiot means you probably kill more innocent people than anything. I know that ISIS and other factions of Middle Eastern extremism are dangerous for the world but...genocide is evil too, and that's a step too far, throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

What we need to do is stand together in both religious and secular tolerance for each other and act as a team against ISIS, along with innocents in the Middle East rather than condemning everyone who lives there. ISIS wants to pervert the world's understanding of Muslims somewhat and keep more xenophobic beliefs about them perpetuated so that they can realise the goal of breaking up the Western world at the seams and make us start infighting due to our differing beliefs of what Islam is.

Moderate Muslims allow them to exist. They could have ended the radicals from the beginning but they did not. Look at Europe right now, you will be the only one practicing tolerance when you let them in. Most Muslims think leaving Islam should be met with death, those who say otherwise practice taqiyya. You must understand that none of these people want peace, why else do they blame us for actions they allowed to happen?

In most Shia and Shia sects Taqqiya is only used to hide from persecution (and has been historically used by Shia Muslims to hide from Sunni Muslims in places like Saudi Arabia), it is not justified in most sects to convince others to convert to your faith, or to enable offensive moves in combat. Although there are some who use it for that purpose.

The root of the word comes from the Arabic ford for fear tuqāt IPA [tuka:t].

"You must understand that none of these people want peace, why else do they blame us for actions they allowed to happen?"

Not entirely sure what you are referring to there.
